2009-10 Goalie Training Program
Stauber’s Goalcrease: EPHA has another season set with Goalcrease, however it is different than previous years. Each team will have 2 Stauber sessions assigned to its goalies. Both goalies will go to each session and teams that have only one goalie they can pair up with other teams in there level that have only one goalie. The goalies can schedule these sessions at anytime or the sessions can be scheduled during a practice and the coaches can run a practice with their skaters on skill specific development without their goalies. The EPHA website will have contact information for Stauber’s Goalcrease sessions or the parents can contact Stauber directly at 952.942.7001 orrstauber@goalcrease.com.
EPHA Goalie Instructor Bryan Schoen: EPHA has added a goalie instructor that will show up to 3 practices per team throughout the season. Bryan will schedule times with the coaches or the coaches can contact Bryan and set up times. The goalie instructor will not only help the goalies but will also help the coaches incorporate drills that aide the goalies in practice. The goalie instructor can give the coaches and goalies some exercises to complete before or after the main practice is over. The ideal situation is to schedule these 3 practices at the beginning, middle and toward the end of the season. You can contact Bryan at: schoen27@comcast.net
